This is Rich's 1986 Fiero GT. The 3800s/c was already installed when we got this project. We upgraded the block with a ZZP performance crate engine (0.020" overbore, custom camshaft, L32 rods, double roller timing chain), tucked and upgraded the wiring, made custom "hidden" spark plug wires, upgraded the engine tune, added braided fuel lines back to the filter, resealed the intercooler, "In Haus" ported supercharger, complete suspension poly upgrade with new tie rods and ball joints, 11.25" brake upgrade, and made it all show quality.
Before: a pretty clean swap
After: an eye catcher
The 3800 requires a custom a/c hose that is made "In Haus"
Rich wanted low profile headlights installed and this is the final product using Fiero1Fan's buckets
This is what we start with when we fabricate the custom wiring harness
This is Joey's favorite part of the job
All new terminals are installed on the C500, C203, PCM and OBD II plugs. No soldering needed here.
As always, we perform a four wheel alignment to finish the swap correctly
Some in progress build pics of the ZZP Performance crate engine
Finished product....or not. Rich has further plans for Project Run Screaming in the near future...Stay tuned.
